Ho ho hose!

Nothing says “seasonal spirit” like a bench that looks as though it partied a little too hard at last year’s julefrokost. Those plast-icky tree stands - that reminds us of disappointing childhood Christmases - match the hose with almost embarrassing accuracy.

The whole construction feels both proud and pitiful, like it knows it’s trying its best in a winter that can’t even be bothered to supply snow. Together they form a bench that’s equal parts holiday cheer, recycled ambition, and the faint melancholy of realizing this might be the most stable thing about winter down here.
